My introduction to art came at an early age, but it was later in life that I realized this path of artistic expression as a painter was my true passion and that which brings joy and fulfillment to my life.

As a painter I draw inspiration from nature and earth's ever changing landscape. I am especially drawn to the water and her shores, and it is in this space and communion that my creative process is stirred and finds its way onto the canvas. This affinity with the outdoors is conveyed in my paintings, and found within the abstract is an organic rhythm that evokes a sense of peace and meditative reflection. My paintings have been described as optimistic, and I embrace that sentiment.
